Or if you find yourself in a tough situation, just imagine yourself giving advice to someone in a similar position. In fact, if you could find someone to help in a similar position, it would do wonders for you. By doing this, you remove yourself from the equation in order to think from a higher perspective.

On a final note, the root chakra is also necessary to keep us grounded and connected to Mother Earth. It is the fire that drives us out of difficult situations; keeping us sharp and alive when it's open.
