"If you find yourself drawn to the purity and grace of these stones, chances are is that you have been through some difficult times lately which has drained your energy to the core. You feel that you haven't had the time or space to do what you've always wanted to do; thus leaving you unhappy and unsatisfied with your current way of life.

Most of us get stressed or anxious about the future mainly because of how the past has played out for us. However, if you were to think about all the things you were worried about at this exact moment last year, you'll find that most of them did not come true. In fact, research shows that 92% of what we worry about, doesn't actually happen! So why do we worry?

.

It is only because of one word, 'Faith'. We lack the faith, trust and belief that the Universe/God has for us. Faith is a very powerful force. By faith, we don't mean religion. Its the strong belief that you put into the Universe, Life or God and trusting that they have your best interest in mind. We have been wired to think that being rich, happy, healthy, blessed, smart, creative is only for a unique few and we don't deserve it...

.

I remember a time being in that space, constantly questioning my circumstances. It was back in early 2015, when we were less than 60 days away from losing our business and our livelihoods. This was in the early months of opening up our first store in Gurney Plaza, Penang. Prior this, we had built the company from a mere RM500 which was about $120 USD at that time.

.

Back then, this was all the money we had combined. We threw everything that we had into stocks, leaving aside some extras for renting a street side table to sell our creations. Having built the company through careful saving, steadiness and a lot of Grace, we managed to raise some funds to open up the doors to our first store just 8 months later.

.

Both of us knew, if were able to get ourselves to Gurney Plaza in Penang, we would be soaring as we thought people would finally get to know us. We could finally be seen! Boy were we wrong. One thing led to another and 5 months later we were staring at the possibility of closing down. At that time, we were making about RM4,000 a month in sales which was just enough for us to pay off the rent, our petrol to travel and to share a meal each day. Thank God we had mom to look after us with a roof over our heads or we would have been homeless.

.

I used to ask, 'Why God? Why must i go through this while other's have it easier than I do? What have I done wrong? Why must we suffer? Why, why why. That's all i asked.

.

The problem with me back then, was that i didn't realise that God was preparing me for what's to come. Life was giving me the necessary wisdom that I needed to sustain the life that I've asked for. It was preparing me for the best version of me to 'show'. What I didn't see is that life was teaching us the art of success.

.

It was showing us the things we needed to know in order to deal with the setbacks that would come our way; setbacks which ultimately led us to one of the most wonderful journey of discovery. Up till today, all of our greatest ideas and greatest moments, were born from the most painful and cruel experience. It was the unforgiving terrains of life that weaved a benevolent web of magic for us, leading us down the road of discovering our purpose and how we were meant to serve.

.

Did our troubles end? No! In fact, it sometimes got bigger. However from that moment on, we only got better and better and better at handling those obstacles; we knew what we needed to do each time an obstacle showed up, which led us to some of them most miraculous moments in our life. It is in those moments that we realize, God is real; and we are not alone...

.

So how did we deal with it? The first step is to be conscious of your thoughts and your feelings. It's simpler said than done, however once you've done it enough, it becomes a habit for you check in on your thoughts from time to time.

.

Each time something negative or stressful crosses our minds, we stop whatever we are doing for 30 seconds and be fully aware of that thought.

The next thing we do is we ask ourselves, "Do I want this thought to come back as an experience in my life?"

From this space of consciousness, you are now in control of your thoughts. You can do whatever it is you want to remove them from your mind.

.

We practise mentally telling them, "Thank you for showing up, you have completed your purpose and you are not needed in my life anymore. Now let's move forward."

This is a simple practise we use to keep ourselves in check. It doesn't matter how positive you are, your thoughts are bound to hijack you from time to time. The moment we release ourselves from being sucked into those lower vibrations and recenter ourselves, we reconnect with the reality we want to manifest. We reconnect with Grace.

.

However, remember that you own this life! Your mind and thoughts are tools to help you grow. Your thoughts are supposed to serve you and not the other way around.
