"September end 2019, a moment in my life i will never forget. The day our friendship broke up. It felt like only yesterday the 3 of us met one another. We were so tight together; as close as sisters or family can ever be; eating, laughing, having fun with one another. If you've ever experience friendship as special as i've had before, you will think it's going to last a lifetime; or more like 'hope' it will...

One day a terrible fight broke out between the both of them. Horrible things were said; things that never should be said to people that we love. During that moment, a rush of emotions flooded my thoughts. I was left in shock; angry, sad and overwhelmed by the situation, i couldn't help but to burst into tears.

Why did i cry? It wasn't because of the fighting, or the harsh words being exchanged. It was simply because i valued our friendship too much. To me, watching them fight broke me so bad, because they were both like family to me. It felt like i was watching my own blood siblings break up; leaving one another and not regarding the other as a sister anymore.

It took me a while to get over this. Just the thought that we could never be together again tore me apart; broke me down into pieces; but i know that by being emotional, nothing good is going to come out of it; nothing is going to change. They have gone their separate ways and the only way for me is to deal with the fact that our sisterhood is no more; and to just cherish those memories...

I still call them for hangouts whenever i miss them; though it hurts not to see them speak with one another like they used to. I know that things can never go back to the way it was, no matter how hard i tried, and that's okay. Life goes on; we must go on...

To me, having this friendship was probably the best 5 years of my life. The memories that we made together, the fun adventures that we had with one another, and the moments we shared; there is just nothing like true friendship...

My message to you is that our life on Earth is short, friendships are limited and experiences are few. If you ever have the opportunity to live amongst good friends, hold it tight; love it, keep it, cherish it; because we'll never know when we might lose it. But if the time comes for us to go our separate ways, let it go and don't let the sadness consume you. Cry if you must, but at the end of the day, remember to move on; because sometimes our relationships may not last forever, but one thing i can promise you is that, these memories will..."
